Description
Stage 2 Performance Software has been specifically developed to attain the best possible performance from the 1.4TFSI with a bolt on performance parts. One of the problems with the 1.4TFSI is heat, Stage2 modifications increase the airflow and the cooling potential of the engine. Stage 2 allows you to run a sports cat without the CEL (Check Engine Light) being triggered by a ‘CAT Efficiency’ error code. Stage 2 software also has a stock mode and three performance modes allowing the vehicle to be setup to suit the fuel quality and driving conditions. Due to issues with these engines from the factory Revo recommend running NGK BKR7EIX spark plugs whether you’re running Stage1 or Stage2 software.
TECHNICAL NOTES
– These vehicles can be OBD (On Board Diagnostic) Port Flashed by Revo without the need to remove or open the ECU
– The 1.4TSI Twincharger engine is known to suffer with oil consumption and misfire issues in standard form. If your vehicle has any running issues in standard form our dealers have been advised to refuse to upgrade it. For further details please click here
