The 2.0T 190PS CZPB Gen3b has seen some substantial changes from the previous Gen3 variant to keep in line with the latest emissions laws and attain significant gains for fuel-efficiency. Along with the physical changes to the engine, these are controlled by a Bosch MG1 ECU.

Software Features
SERIAL PORT SWITCH (SPS)
Using an SPS switch you can take advantage of the switch-ability of Revo software and set your car up to suit differing conditions and fuel quality. The SPS gives you the ability to switch between 3 performance modes and set your car to antitheft mode via the vehicle OBD port.
- SPS Position 1 – Antitheft mode
- SPS Position 2 – 95ron fuel mode
- SPS Position 3 – 97ron fuel mode
- SPS Position 4 – 98/99ron fuel mode
Simply select a mode, plug it in, wait for the confirmation tone, remove the SPS device and start the car. If using Antitheft select one of the three performance modes to turn it off. It’s simple and there’s no fixed switch to install in the vehicle.
COLD START PROTECTION
For engine oil to work effectively and lubricate your engine it needs time to warm up. When you first start your car, the cold oil is at a higher viscosity and flows more slowly, limiting the protection it can give to engine components. As the engine temperature increases, so does the oil temperature. This thins the oil, enabling it to run more freely and better lubricate the moving parts of your engine. Cold Start Protection helps protect engine components by limiting RPM until the oil and coolant temperatures reach a safe operating level.
TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
Revo temperature protection is an additional safety feature that reduces overall load and RPM if the oil or coolant temperature passes set limitations. Air intake temperature is also closely monitored and boost will be reduced if it exceeds the set limit to help maintain constant performance and aim in helping lower temperatures quicker.
EXHAUST
- Enhanced overrun (Not applicable if vehicle doesn’t have overrrun standard)
- CAT heating from coldstart altered to reduce high RPM starting and excessive noise
LEFT FOOT BRAKING
Left foot braking has been enabled on this vehicle.
SPEED LIMIT
The top speed limit for this vehicle has been removed.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Along with all the features above the software includes the following:
- Stop/start default mode changed to “off”.
- Dash Boost pressure display recalculated.
- Dash Power display recalculated.
- Idle RPM increased in Sport mode – Improves pedal feel when accelerating from stationary, and gives a faster response and noise.
